The University of Oviedo offers teaching and university services in faculties, schools and affiliated centres. More than twenty centres open their classrooms each year to the nearly 20,000 students who study in the classrooms of the Asturian academic institution.

These centres offer undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree courses, although postgraduate courses are coordinated and managed by the International Postgraduate Centre.

In addition to formal teaching, the centres have numerous services for students, lecturers, researchers and administration and service staff, such as libraries, study rooms, computer rooms, university extension courses, language training and the programme for the elderly (PUMUO), among others.
